Reiki in London
What is Reiki/Seichum?
Reiki is a natural form of Healing energy that is channelled through the practitioner into the client. Receiving Reiki is very simple, effortless and non-intrusive. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki will pass through anything, even metal plates and plaster casts. The practitioner simply places their hands in a sequence of positions which cover the whole body. Reiki treats the whole person rather than specific symptoms and is a gentle, but powerful energy which promotes peace, relaxation and wellbeing within one’s mind, body and spirit.
Reiki may be experienced as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness, other sensations, or nothing at all. It is a good idea to rest and drink more water after a reiki session. Only by embracing your body’s needs can the energy maintain its efficiency and continue to nourish your physical and mental being. The beneficial effects of reiki may be felt for several days.
What are the Benefits?
Illness can be a time of great stress. Reiki can help us cope by encouraging relaxation and bringing balance to both mind and emotions.
The benefits reported by Clients and Patients of our Practitioner members include deep relaxation, promoting a calm, peaceful sense of well being on all levels.
Reiki encourages and supports positive personal choices, such as improving diet, taking more exercise, devoting time for rest or leisure activities, and may reduce the need for alcohol and tobacco. Enabling greater inner harmony and balance, regular Reiki treatments promote a calmer response to life’s challenges.
Reiki’s gentle energy is easily adapted to most medical conditions and may be used safely by people of all ages, including newborns, pregnant mothers, surgical patients, the frail and elderly, and in any situation.
Being complementary, Reiki works effectively alongside orthodox healthcare and natural remedies, expanding treatment options.
Reiki can enhance everyday living, and regular sessions may help to promote development of a healthier, more resourceful state of being.
Note: Reiki is being used in various settings including private practice, complementary therapy centres, GP surgeries, hospitals, hospices, cancer support groups, post-operative recovery, drug rehabilitation, prisons, HIV/AIDS centres, and in the care of the elderly.
Seichum is a more powerful form of Reiki energy. Whilst Reiki is described as pure white energy; Seichum energy could be likened to a rainbow. I am able to incorporate both, in creating a more profound and powerful healing.
